AMBASSADOR ZACHARIAH MALLAM IFU’s PROFILE
Ambassador Zachariah Mallam Ifu was born in Takum, Taraba State on 5th May 1965, he speaks English, Hausa, and Jukun. Amb. IFU, a lawyer by profession, attended the Nigerian Law School, Lagos in 1989 and was called Bar Barr in 1991. He joined the Foreign Service in 1993 as a Third Secretary and commenced his career in the Legal and Treaties Division. In the course of his career, he served meritoriously at several Departments at Headquarters and Missions abroad including; the Nigerian High Commission, Canberra, Australia from 1998-2000, Embassy of Nigeria, Monrovia, Liberia from 2003-2007, Embassy of Nigeria, Jakarta, Indonesia from 2010-2014, Nigeria High Commission, Pretoria, South Africa from 2017-2018, Minister/Charge D’ Affaires, Embassy of Nigeria, Ouagadougou, Burkina-Faso from 2018-2019 and currently as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Embassy of Nigeria, Harare, Zimbabwe from May 2021 till date.
